Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe morogh/ chicken polao was good but a tad too heavy(rich?! ! Will order from here once in a while. Quantity was good and priced right.
The food is not flavorful and they frequently deliver incorrect items that I did not order.
We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Do not choose to eat here. We ordered biryani and it had a very unpleasant smell. Not just me, but my entire family had complaints about it. We were unable to finish the biryani as it seemed like it was just reheated and sold to us. I do not recommend this restaurant for biryani, and if you do decide to go, you will definitely regret it.
The restaurant offers a mixed selection of dishes. I would not suggest ordering the Kacchi Biriyani or kala vuna as they did not meet expectations. However, the Cha, Tehari, Beef Biryani, and Rupchanda fish dishes were delicious. The service was subpar, and they provided paper cutlery and to-go boxes for dine-in customers. Many items on the menu tend to sell out quickly, and they left the door open allowing flies to enter. The restroom was unprofessional and had a small sink for handwashing.
I have visited Bay Leaf a few times and each time the food has been excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the chai is delicious! On this occasion, I ordered the chicken over rice with a veggie samosa and chicken samosa (all shown in the picture). The chicken is flavorful with a mild-medium level of heat, and the rice is cooked perfectly, not sticky. The samosas are fresh, and my favorite was the veggie one. The portions are generous - the chicken over rice was enough to split between two of us for lunch and we were satisfied. The service was a bit slow, so I would suggest calling ahead to order, but I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be returning again!
