Food and service was excellent musty smell when walking in I think they need to replace the floor rugs slash mats.
Ordered two meals to go. The chipotle pasta was HORRIBLE. I called and spoke to the owner. I was very polite with her, but in return was not met with the same. Uncomfortable conversation. I usually do not complain about food but this was awful and expensive. A container filled with dried out chicken and over the top sweet and spicy sauce and a plain hamburger bun. I offered to put the money back in the establishment if I received a gift card. She said that she would put it in the mail. I did end up taking the meal back to the establishment . I never received the gift card. I live around the corner. I called on a Sunday, and am writing this review on a Saturday. I called towards the end of the week as I was going to bring someone in and would use the gift card. I was told that the owner would be notified......checked today and was asked if I wanted to speak to the owner and then told that the owner was not there. I said that I no longer wanted a gift card. That I would come in and have the money put back in my card. I was told that the it was put in the mail and I would receive it in a few days. I will never return. Absolutely rude behavior. This isn't the same that it was a few years ago. I used to love their hamburgers. That was the second meal that I ordered. Tossed half, but did not complain. Not returning. The bad vibes sealed the deal.
It was good, but have had better.Food was okay. Beef on weck was dry, overcooked. Horse radish was like grated ginger. Had no spice to it. Service was sad. Lots of hussle and bussle by the wait staff. Went at a slow time. Waitress didn 't know how to run my card to pay for meal and had someone else do it. That someone else lost my card but found it somewhere. The place seems so disorganized and chaotic. Lots of elderly locals eat here from what I could tell. Not my scene. Parking is a complete cluster...
Have eaten here at least 6 times when I’m in Buffalo for business. Location is close to the airport and hotels. They promote their soup and salad bar as the best in Buffalo. If that’s true, the bar’s set pretty low. At the entrance, there was a sign saying that due to increased prices, the salad bar was $2 more. Went from $4.99 when you add it to an entree to $6.99. Soups were average, 4 to choose from. Salad bar has limited items, needed cleaning, and overall was a disappointment. On a positive note, my fish sandwich was great, huge portions. Bill was $26 for a fish sandwich, fries, salad bar, and coke. Service was average. Not the friendliest server, but ok.
