In general, the experience at the restaurant was positive. However, the main issue was that despite making a reservation through OpenTable, we were informed upon arrival that the restaurant was not currently using OpenTable for reservations. They assured us that our reservation time would still be honored. After waiting for about 10 minutes past our reservation time, we inquired about the wait time, only to be told that they were unsure how long it would be, but that we were fifth in line. Fortunately, there was seating available at the bar, and from that point on, everything went smoothly.
When we arrived to check in, we were informed that the restaurant no longer accepts OpenTable reservations. We suggested they should remove themselves from OpenTable. They said we could wait another 45 minutes as a courtesy, but we decided to leave instead of dining here. It was shocking how we were treated.
Probably one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had in 40 years together. Understaffed, overbooked, and completely uncaring. Had reservations for 12:15. Finally seated at 1:45!!! Very average food for the price. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but we will NEVER be back. Sad to see the decline of what was a great restaurant.
Overall disappointing from what once was a great concept restaurant.. seems they don’t connect with Open Table despite being able to reserve through the app… so that meant a 20 minute delay… finally got seated right inside the door on the main server path despite lots of open tables… 15 more minutes go by with no server… finally server appears no apology.. ask for an appetizer and drink… spoonful of chicken for lettuce wraps shows up with literally 12 pieces of lettuce… but no drinks… asked 3 times to get drinks; even other servers… then had to flag the waitress again to order dinner… two entrees show up but wrong ones they go back…another 10 minutes and now the hostess has staked out the high top next to us to wrap silverware and do work so lots of servers coming and going but just to kill what’s left of the ambiance…. Food shows up (finally)…. Decent meal, but way too salty… literally 60 seconds after we start on dinner the waitress does come by to see if we want dessert… we decline… now check shows up while we’re still eating… so I pull out credit card and pay… but what do you normally get at a Chinese restaurant ? Fortune cookies; but of course they’re out of them… so for our trouble the server gives us discount coupons to come back again….??…. I left them on the table… sorry, PF Changs and $100 for 2 drinks lettuce wraps 2 entrees is off the dinner menu for us…
