El Ribero - Burgos

We drive here for lunch with a scenic drive from Santillana to Bilbao . Reviews looked good and we were not disappointed! A more extensive menu than we expected and it was served quickly and was of an excellent standard. We arrived at 1400 hours and it was quite quiet.... within half an hour the restaurant was full and we can understand why the Spanish head was eating here. €23 for 2 persons, 3 courses including drink and a coffee. Although English is not really spoken and our Spanish is likewise limited the staff was friendly and helpful and provided a menu in English. The restaurant is airy and comfortable. Definitely a visit to a Menú del día!

Good food! Menu with choice between meat and fish and salad. The posts are a phenomenon. Eat here! The Spanish people eat here and that's good.

We went with some friends we were with and know this restaurant well. At 9.5 euros for 3 courses it is good. From a 9.5 Euro menu I did not expect too much, but what I got was well cooked, unpredictable food with a good selection of dishes on the menu. The service was very good and the dining room was light, airy and comfortable. Worth a lunch break.

Un excelente lugar para comer y tapear. Muy cordiales y rápidos. Menú de 3 platos, postre y café por 16 euros. Productos de porciones grandes y todo muy fresco.

He estado muy agusto, ambiente tranquilo, precio asequible y una buena comida. Atención muy buena.
