For trying something new and unique, I really thought the astosphere and food ranked high. I came on a Thursday night and tried their newest version of their menu at a very resonable price for omakase. Cocktails were well executed and they had a great range of yuzu

Why don't you just close if half if your menu is not available. The menu is already pathetically short, and you have nothing to offer. No wonder you have so many negative reviews recently.

Everything at Iku Yakitori was amazing. We ordered the omakase and can honestly say that each dish was at least an 8/10. Each dish was full of flavour and had a unique touch. I highly recommend the pork meat balls (mouthgasm) and also the Yamazaki whiskey caramel ice cream with (the best) taiyaki!If you are looking for a nice place to have dinner in the Gold Coast, then Iku would be the perfect spot both in the vibes as well as the food.

The dishes were cold by the time they came to our table. The char grilled cauliflower was like eating charcoal. The sashimi was super thick. The flavor balance was odd. We’ve eaten here many times in the past and it used to be one of our favorite restaurants on the Gold Coast but we couldn’t recommend it again based on the evening we just had. The wait staff were not very attentive and it took a long while to get their attention to order drinks. Maybe it was just an off night.
