Avaliação da contribuiçãoI have been a patron at this taven for over 8 years Wednesday night 31st may 18 friends and I went for our fortnightly dinnerI ordered the night special Half rack of ribs. After 50 minutes waiting and all other guest had been served and nearly finished their meals Thought i would ask if my meal was arriving soon The young lady Talia apologized for delay and informed us that my half rack of ribs for 20 would be upgraded to full rack and be out within next 5 minutes. 15 minutes later Friends ask when it was coming as all guests had finished their meal and I was still waiting now over an hour for a meal. The meal arrived and it was half a rack not full as waitress advised me and my guests would be offered for the delay. I was told to go to counter and speak to chef. Well I surprised to be confronted by a rude arrogant chef named Luke when I asked why it took over an hour for my meal I was told by luke to get out the back and cook it myself.Shocked I told him don't worry give me my money backBeing a local business owner myself i understand things happen and when you offer something you need to deliver on that statement Cameron the manager could understand my situation and could only offer a refund from his own wallet? I did not take it. Spend $20 Did not get my plate of half or full ribs. Had to go to McDonald's to get a meal at treetops tavern. At least I got it within 5 minutes The new owners peter ashelford of Lewis hotels and Nick Politis CEO of NRL roosters might want to check in on this investment and make a change. I wont be back. I won't spend a cent at this tavern until Luke the chef is gone owners invest in staff training on customer service I would not could not recommend anyone to eat here at the moment
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) went for dinner tonight. I ordered a vegetarian pizza while my hubby ordered steak, both kids ordered nuggets. about 10 minutes AFTER we ordered the waitress came over to tell me there have no vegetabables for my pizza and that if I ordered a cheese pizza it would only take 4 mins given my families meals were on there way. So my kids meals and my hubbys meals arrived, hubby ordered steak medium rate, came very well cooked. I sat there for another 10mins without a meal and by the time pizza came my family had finished eating. I told the waitress how disappointed we were with the meals and that I hope she can express that to the the chef, she nodded and we sat there a while longer expecting feedback and NOTHING..... nobody body got back to us so we left after wasting our money. We are locals and will never be back..... very poor service
After being an official member of the tavern and seeing it change hands recently I have to admit it is defiantly on the downhill slide. Service is still the same standard but the meals are really hit and miss. Appears they are concentrating more on their other hotel rather than building this one which would be their better option as a great and well attended trade pub. Sorry to say but unless I here otherwise our group of 20 per fortnight will not be attending unless the sort something out
Terrible food for the price, had the barramundi special x 2, could see where they had cut the fish in half to serve on both plates served with a terrible salad and 12 chips and watery gravy, and the price wasn't a great price. such a pity as have been coming here for years and since being under new ownership, terrible. some of the old staff still give you great service, however the TAB lady on the day before Melbourne cup couldn't have been ruder and bistro gone right down hill. Such a shame :-(
Popular tradies pub for the after work crowd. A bit rowdy for my liking but good value. Very good bottle shop attached with friendly knowledgeable staff.
