Avaliação da contribuiçãoI've had both the Chicken Shawarma and Souvlaki and while they were ok, they were mostly vegetable, not a lot of chicken. And very personable servers who will upsell you without your knowledge until you hit the cash register, 50 cents for a sprinkle of feta cheese is gouging, as far as I'm concerned. It's convenient for a quick grab and go lunch, but not the best value or quality.
This small restaurant is nestled amongst some big chains and yet I always seek them out. The chicken is great but...Please try the falafel on a pita with the garlic sauce...it is worth the trip!
Amazing Mediterranean and Halal food. The Shawarma's and hamburgers are by far my favourite, oohh and I can't forget those potato's. The guys that work there are so friendly. I'm not sure why someone would say these guys are ignorant racist, I'm a Caucasian female and my boyfriend is also Caucasian and we eat here often.
I have eaten at this restaurant a number of times, each time I'm impressed with the service in one way or another. Sometimes you get lucky and get a real nice guy making a real nice pita definitely worth every penny, other times you get an ignorant racist that'll refuse you service if you're of a different skin colour. THAT'S RIGHT, I have been refused service on numerous occasions because I'm white. I have been turned away being told that "we're closed." only to watch the guy behind the counter open it all back up for a brown guy looking for the same meal. If you're passing through, I would not recommend tossing the coin and hoping you get the guy who serves non-brown people.
Decent portion size but light on the chicken and heavy on the rice. $7.99 Chicken Shawarma with Rice is a bit bland. Still on the quest for a decent lunch Shawarma joint.
