J F Chen Chinese Food - Burlington

We just tried Chen for the first time and were very satisfied! Everything was fresh and well tasted. We felt that the portions were also generous. We visited a simple family dinner special this time, but we will explore the menu at our next visit.

PERFECT PLACE to GET CHINESE FOOD! This restaurant has recently changed owners and it was never better! I come here all the time to eat my fauns: chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, General Tso and Beef Egg Noodle. The food is extremely tasty and the portions are quite large (good expensive) and the receptionists are extremely nice! I would recommend this place to everyone! Will come back very soon!!!

The Hubby and I drove through Burlington. We have a short bite to eat here. We both had the Szechuan chicken, sweet and sour chicken and chicken roast rice. The rice of fried rice was boiled under that the center of the grains was raw and hard. The chef still decided to use the rice to serve the customers who know it undercooked. The rice was probably cooked and stored by the night before to fried flash on any order. The taste was there, but the rice was so mischievous and hard to eat. The Szechuan chicken was hard broken chicken, without chicken inside. The frit itself was very stiff to eat, we had to spit them out. The sweet and sour chicken was ok, that had chicken pieces already, but it was hardly chicken. Coming from Scarborough, which houses some amazing Chinese restaurants, we were terribly disappointed by their food. Please do not sell boiled rice and foil customers with chicken if it only hard, over fried dough.

Sweet acidic chicken ball is really delicious, the receptionist is very nice, the food is fresh. Better than Chinese food in China, highly recommend this Chinese restaurant.

The Shrimp egg noodle was so amazing that we had to come back and order again the very next day. It tasted good, fresh and not oily at all. If there was a bit more shrimp in there it would be perfect! The staff who took the order was friendly! However, we tried order the sweet and sour pork with fried rice on the lunch set menu, it was not as good. It was too oily.
