Avaliação da contribuiçãoLoved the food here and the overall atmosphere. Everything was fairly priced and even the sweets tasted good too. Staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking outside. Only issue I had is the wait time, they?ll tell you a time and it?ll end up being way longer. We were told it?d be ready in 30, took about 50. Overall, i?d definitely recommend giving them a try.
I?ve been there two times, once before Pandemic (Dine-in) and one time was after pandemic (Take-out). If you see with the Value for money factor, this restaurant is not bad at all. I wish they could have more space inside so more people can dine in since there only 3-4 table available but I guess they have no other choices either. Shikanji my favorite item and I am sure everyone might like it. For the mains, I think they are good at some dishes while average or below the bar at some dishes. Defiantly it is hang out place for bachelors but it?s hard to imagine this place with full grown big family. Although it has quite more than enough parking spaces as always.
I regret to mention this as a review, since I would never have thought that I would order such a unsatisfactory experience in an Indian restaurant in Canada. Honestly, the food was disappointing in a word. Chilli chicken sword and hakka roasted rice for a little party for my son's birthday. I called for order and the guy was really helpful. He made reasonable suggestions and when I told him that the party was for less than 10 ppl, he told me how to order mass order for 15 people than 5 or 6 of them separately, at the price I accepted his offer. I asked him again and again if the food would be good and told him since his only a few ppl meetings I wanted the food to be the best thing it ordered from there. He assured me everything and finally came my food. My friend who picked up the order brought the food and his first comment was? I don't think this is for 15 ppl, I wonder if it was messed with someone else's order, and when I opened, I realized what he was talking about. It wasn't even enough to serve the 6 people who were only on the party and as blessings in disguise, I didn't have to worry because no one liked it hardly and had hardly enough what kept me from fleing from food. The hakka fried rice simply tasted so bitter and bland without taste. The chili chicken I would say was just too much ketchup and salty vinegar tasting and was watery. Chicken didn't feel fresh and I was embarrassing to hear that one of my guests said it smells bad. I would say the only saving grace was the Gulab Jamun who was on site. I'm sorry I had to explain all this, but I would make sure I never make the mistake of ordering back from here, as I was so humiliated before my guests who were really nice to me, at least some of them had. I would not be surprised if people left similar comments that I went through few who shared the similar experience. This is a cordial sincere review that I have made honest, and I hope that this will not happen to anyone who orders sincerely here, hope that you guys will work on your order delivery after reading this report. The saddest part is that I made the order first in the morning when the restaurant opened the delivery only at 6:30 in the evening, nor am I surprised that she badly messed up my order.
Royal Cumin has good quality food with good amount at a reasonable price. You have not updated new menus there yet they have old menus in-store as well.
I've been ordering food from this place for some time. It used to be decent. But last week I had ordered lamb curry and it was terrible. I don't know if her chef has changed or what happened, but the curry was so that I had to throw it into the dust bin. The onions were not properly cooked, the tomatoes were sluggish and the curry dug a strange smell. The worst part that Hammel felt like she was cooked and literally had no favor. I wanted to give a star, but only for old times I give 3 stars. I'll never order any curries from here again.
