Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe have been going to Tin for a little over a year now. We live locally so its a nice, easy place for us to grab a bite. Lots of different food to be had here I 've never had something I didn 't like. Its great for groups for this reason, as everyone can find something they like. Its about average as far as pricing is concerned, you can get out of there for around $40 for dinner for two (no alcohol). The service is mostly good Kathy and Kim are definitely the reason we keep going back. Always remember our favourite order, love to chat, great service. Some of the other waitresses look snobby and are quite rude. Overall, it 's not a bad little place to stop in for a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner. Also not a bad place to watch the game.
Went here with a group of 6 on Saturday night without a reservation and was told the wait would be an hour. We considered leaving, but then looked over to the empty bar area and asked about sitting there. The hostess said we could definitely do that. It's weird that she wouldn't suggest it in the first place to try to keep our business. The food here was pretty good for a sports bar. We split the buffalo cauliflower to start, which was delicious. My caesar salad was pretty standard. I had the chicken, fig, and fontina sandwich for my main, and it was SO oversalted. I even had to get up a few times in the middle of the night to get water because I was so thirsty from all the salt! Other people at my table enjoyed their chicken tortilla soup, burgers, and french onion soup.
Here right now watching Raptors game 7 in the bar area. Wings cold, just like the service. Not usually like this. Daytime staff is great. Evening bar staff? They really don't care
Lots of seating, and plenty of TVs, although some sight lines aren't great. The food is delicious, I particularly love the boneless wings. Which are amongst the best I've had in a few years. The fries are a good balance of crispness and tenderness. Whenever I've sat at the bar the service has always been friendly and efficient.
A little disappointed here. Went with a friend who was so excited for the orange habanero wings as he's had them before . We ordered half hot, half habanero not dusted. They came out so dry with practically no sauce at all. We asked for them to be taken back saying we thought these were supposed to be saucy. She brought them back with the smallest amount of sauce on the habanero side and nothing on the hot side. They were tasty but with no spice or heat at all. We then saw a plate come out loaded in sauce so not really sure what happened, but they did look good when they came out. Drinks for the price of them were also very small. I had a whiskey drink and it came with so much ice that I pretty much had 4 sips from it and that was it. Service was ok, the waitress was there every 5 mins waiting to take our order but as the night went on and it got a bit busier you never really saw her again. It took quite awhile to get the bill. The menu looks really good, it has a gluten free bun option for a burger which Is a plus for me so i may or may not try it again. Depends on if there is nothing else around.
