James Street Cafe & Grill - Burnaby

James Street Café is a great place for breakfast. Located at the intersection of Vancouver and Burnaby, it opens at 7:30 am on weekdays, making it convenient for people working in both districts to enjoy a hearty breakfast before starting a hard day's work and replenishing their energy. The restaurant offers a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, including common Western dishes such as steak, burgers, french fries, toast, and bacon and eggs, as well as Indian curry and Biryani rice, combining Western and Indian cuisine in one place, allowing customers to enjoy dishes from two different countries at the same time. The restaurant also offers a variety of discounted To Go takeaway menus for busy office workers, which is commendable. The dining area is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Today, I came specifically to enjoy the limited edition Indian-style breakfast that the restaurant only offers on weekends. Although the price is a bit high, it is worth it because it is full of Western and Indian characteristics!

Enjoyed, but need more servers. I went with work friends to St. James. We got there before noon to a quiet restaurant. We all enjoyed our food, which included butter chicken, dhal, chicken pakora and another chicken dish in coconut sauce. The service at the beginning was great, but by the time we were finished it was much busier, with a large group of people in the center, the service did not even exist to us. We ended up having to go up to the till to get our bill and pay. As we left we realized we did not get our leftovers they were suppose to wrap up for us.. I will go back and hope to have better service.

The best african indian fusion food in vancouver i love this place 'you gotta eat here ' good service great people the bbq meat plate is totally awesome and they have take out dinner specials all day long for 10.95 you get a huge portion of food usually enough for three you just can 't go wrong. Are you still reading this? Hurry up and go before it 's all gone.

Excellent food, average prices, friendly staff, bit noisy if you are sitting outside (tables are too close to Canada Way). I am highly recommending it.
