Morgan's Farm To Table - Burnsville

This restaurant could certainly improve with a different location and some menu adjustments. However, for a hotel restaurant (having been a flight attendant and visited many), this place stands out more than most. The service was excellent. We were welcomed by a very pleasant man, and our waiter was both efficient and friendly. I tried the cinnamon cranberry sandwich, which was tasty, though the cinnamon crust took me by surprise. I expected something different and found myself wishing for cinnamon butter toast instead. If the bacon were a bit crispier and the aioli had more cranberries, it would really make a stronger impression. We also swapped in goat cheese for our dish due to dairy allergies.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and responsive service, ok food. Wives ordered Jack Frost (blue coconut drink) and Drunken Mermaid drinks. Both were tasty and well mixed. I ordered a Knob Creek Bourbon straight up. What was brought was clearly not Knob Creek (or any Bourbon). The waiter realized his mistake and brought the right drink before I could even say anything. The original was a 12 year Scotch (also very tasty). He obviously didn't change me for the Scotch andcomped my second Knob Creek (I wasn't driving grin). My wife ordered the Walleye best meal at our table; it was awesome. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye medium rare. The first steak brought was well done (ZERO PINK sorry no photo). Iasked for a second and the one photographed is what was brought more of a medium. Both were seasoned nicely, but definitely not a 12 oz steak. The potatoes and other vegis on all plates were good. One of our other guests ordered thepork chop it was ok. Looked very rare in the center. Another ordered a chicken dish. Again ok. In short the proteins were all right, but not something we'd go back for and Morgans is a short 10 minute drive from our homes. Bycontrast we'd all do the 55 minute drive to the west Metro to get the Ike's Smoked Prime Rib again... Don't know if they had someone new cooking the proteins but they were just okay. Service, however, did a great job of taking care ofus

We had a fantastic experience overall. The service was outstanding, and our server, Greg, was incredibly friendly. He consistently refilled our drinks and made sure to check on us regularly. When we called to inquire about a table, the hostess, Bella, was also very welcoming, which really encouraged us to choose this restaurant for our meal. The food was fresh and delicious, and we loved the charming little patio. We will definitely be returning!

The service here was quick and friendly, which I really appreciated. However, I was hoping for something special when it came to the food, but it turned out to be just average. The salad was heavily overdressed, and the Fish and Chips lacked flavor.
