The Hideaway - Burton upon Trent

Charming little café! We visited for afternoon tea, and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing us with an extra pot of tea that was delightful. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!

The dining experience was enjoyable, and the children were quite taken with the picnic table. Two kids had sandwiches, while also enjoying some crawfish, strawberries, and drinks. An adult ordered a sandwich as well, along with crawfish, coleslaw, and a salad (which was fresh and not just an afterthought on the plate), plus a drink, all for £10.70. The quality of the food was excellent and fresh. They also make the most amazing milkshakes! I would highly recommend this place.

I heard about this café and noticed a glowing 5-star review on TripAdvisor, so I decided to check it out. Wow! What a fantastic place! I would give it 10 stars if I could. The interior is beautiful and picturesque, creating a lovely atmosphere. The menu is diverse and very reasonably priced. I enjoyed a delicious salad and a mint Aero milkshake. It's also a child-friendly spot, which was great since I had my baby with me. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I absolutely loved my experience and can't wait to visit again!

Booked for afternoon tea as motherday tasty bites for my mother. it was absolutely beautiful, large selection of sandwiches and cakes, unlimited tea and coffee too. personal friendly, without being intrusive. a hidden gem!

I had my surprise baby shower here and it was lovely the food was delicious and the staff were all friendly. Would highly recommend it to everyone. I would return again. Thank you to the hideaway team.
