The new restaurant looks very cosy and warm in terms of light and decoration. I went there in lunch time and they offer lunch sets. Food was ordinary in taste. #Grilled Pork meat with fried rice# looked nice as well. However, some of the corn kernels were a little bit burnt. The pork meat was too tense to bite. You had to put one piece entirely inside your mouth and chew.
On the outside looked like a nice and clean restaurant. The food was nice, fresh and tasted ok. Small portions and a little pricey. But totally HATED their service. There was none. Staff was impolite, especially the manager Jessica. When we were able to attract them, their attitude was like we were annoying them. Their attitude was ****. Will never ever go back
I have been to this restaurant many times since the first week it opened. The first time ordered take away, for some reason the portion was sooo small! We ordered 4 mains and rice for 3, but the total portion was more like for two. Since the dishes tasted great, we went again for dining in. The restaurant was clean, food portion was normal, tasted great, everything was fine. Went again last week, and I noticed they changed menu, price for some dishes have gone up. Food was yummy as always, but personally, increasing price in 2 months since opening is a bit ... But I think I'll still go back for their food and cleanness.
Foodoe Meet is just one of the many new restaurants that's popped up in the Emerald Square complex. Despite the dubious name, the food was quite nice and the restaurant clean. Service could be improved - we had to ask for plates and water multiple times as the staff seemed to excel in avoiding our eyes. Portions are generous for most dishes. The claypot fried rice with seafood could've done with more seafood than rice but overall, it was a satisfying dish. The deep fried Sichuan chicken with knobbly bits of garlic and peanuts was a smallish serving but so addictive. There was good variety of funghi in the mushroom claypot but it was a bit too sweet. We also ordered a meal off the $13.80 lunch menu (chargrilled pork neck with vegetable fried rice) with the option of adding a delicious double boiled soup for $5. Great value. Happy to return to try the rest of the menu especially the lamb ribs in a bread bowl.
why would you get 3 people to sit on a table for two and move them but already call a table for 5 and just leave them hanging WITHOUT SORRY OR LETTING THEM KNOW. no communication what so ever. makes me annoyed that they just walk around and avoid eye contact and hope no one would say anything. overall the food was great and prices are decent but the customer service needs a bit of work ????
