Cockeyed Clam - Buxton

Very good food. very friendly staff. our waiter jordan was right. well, eating was lovely!

This place is so great! eating is simply perfect, and the atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. the kinnakeet monster fish sandwich is huge and yet they want all that it is so good to eat. the diligent on the fried foods as garnelen has spoiled me for all other fried seafood, it is so good and light and crispy. the pommes were great. even the nice ones were great. even the red wine we tried was great.

Fantastic eating great atmosphere and very family friendly. everything we ate tasted extremely fresh. the beginning of the day with some of the best fish I ever had. I don't eat tonne seafood, but enough I can tell the difference between something frozen and something fresh and that was definitiw fresh. we have two small children (the two are well-natured) and they were extremely courteous. instead of looking at them getting some paints to bring children into a restaurant, the hostess and waitress seemed really welcome for children. we were here on the outer banks in the next season, but this restaurant was still full of what looked like locals/regulars, which is always a good sign when eating in a touristic opposite. itl was a very friendly environment.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I found the restaurant on google looking for a place with good oysters. everything we ate was amazingly delicious. the restaurant was almost all the time we were there; in a Wednesday in the next season. the local food also there, so they know that it is good. I have seen a lot of reviews complaining about the price, but the portions are great. the money is worth it.

Excellent service and fantastic food! Best fresh clam straps I have ever had! Can't wait to go back!
