Avaliação da contribuiçãoEpic fail. This place looks great, but everything else is something to avoid. I visited the restaurant as a guest, not staying at the hotel it is in; made a reservation 3 days in advance specified to be on the patio one the app (open table). Got there to find that they would not seat us at one of the 11 tables available on the patio at the time, and ended up inside. The service was sub par we were clearly an inconvenience. The drinks from the bar were very good the house margarita was tasty BUT it was $25USD outrageous! The food was mediocre... At best. My pork enchiladas had a bone the size of the end of my index finger in it... I called over the waiter, said he would speak to the manager... NOTHING... No follow up at all. They asked how we enjoyed our meal at the end and we told them that all 5 of us were quite disappointed. They couldn't have cared less. I go to Cabo every year and will not visit this place ever again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: MX$1–100 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
OMG everything was fantastic. Even the rice that came with my bacon wrapped shrimp was the best I'd ever had...almost don't want to post how good it was so next time it isnt to crowded.
Food quality is not good. We had breakfast at this place. Most items were not fresh very small restaurant service was slow.
Right off the beach at the Villa del Arco resort, you 'll find el Patron. When we arrived, we were escorted to a table in a nearly empty restaurant after being told we could be squeezed in. Most of the patrons seemed to be guests at the resort, accounting for the many available tables after 7:30pm. Of note, do not make reservations through Villa del Arco for the resort restaurants or any of the other restaurants in Cabo... they 're just salespeople for the time shares, and often the reservations never even go through. The inside of El Patron looks like a mixture of a hip grandmother 's house and a classic Mexican spot. The staff are very attentive and friendly, and the beverages were fantastic. I ordered rosé, and was given a taste of three local wines before selecting mine. The margaritas were gigantic, nearly the size of each out our heads. We had ceviche and aguachile, very tasty. For an entree, I enjoyed the enchiladas suizas. We were so surprised by how good the food was here, as we weren 't expecting the resort-associated restaurant to be so tasty. If you 're staying nearby, I recommend El Patron. Beware, the prices are tailored to the American clientele, not quite as appealing as the restaurants deeper into town.
We had breakfast here every day of our vacation and it was the perfect way to start the day. Fresh fruit, tons of bakery choices, nice hot items like chilaquiles and made to order eggs. My husband raved about the homemade flour tortillas and got 3 each day. They also had a juice bar with 6 or 7 fresh squeezed juices to select from. The staff was very attentive and remembered our names and greeted us warmly each day. And the setting was beautiful-right on the ocean. So nice!!!
