Soda Kawe - Cahuita

The food at this restaurant is delicious, particularly the breakfast options like scrambled eggs and bacon.

This is the go-to spot for breakfast in Cahuita. They are the only ones open at 5:30 AM. Their gallo pinto is fantastic, and their fried bread roll is delicious and freshly made. I also recommend trying their platter of fresh fruit. However, the coffee could be improved.

The food was just okay, nothing extraordinary. It took a long time for our food to be served (which we expected in Costa Rica), and by the time it arrived, half of it had already gone cold. The prices were high considering the mediocre food quality, so overall it was not worth the ¢3700 per meal. I would suggest trying another restaurant in town instead.

Very tasty cassada at a great price. They aren't open late until 7 but it starts to fill up around 6. A great choice when in Cahuita!

Cozy little soda; great place if you’re looking for local food in Cahuita. They’re Fish in Escabache was unreal tasty.
