Bagel Dock Cafe - Calabash

I absolutely love Bagel Dock! However, I was taken aback when I arrived and found all the tables were dirty. I politely asked the employee at the register if they had anything to clean the tables with, and she handed me a rag to do it myself. I cleaned off the table without saying anything and returned the rag to her, and she thanked me. The entire time I was there, no one came out to clean any tables, which surprised me given that the restaurant was not busy—only a few other tables were occupied. Aside from that, everything else was great!

The fries were excessively salty, and the beef was dry, overcooked, and also too salty. We've dined here many times, and this was the only occasion where the food was so subpar.

The bagels are awesome! Real fried eggs on the breakfast sandwiches were the cherry on top for me. Plenty of options along with something for your sweet tooth as well. Daily breakfast specials if you order before 9am. The staff are pleasant, helpful, and bring a level of energy you don’t see everyday. Definitely will be returning before we leave.

This place is always packed and deservingly so! Fast service, great food, and akways consistent.

Wow !!! I recently visited this establishment and everyone was so kind and helpful. I met the owner. Christine and she was so sweet. She helped me with all my questions about the menus and she even wiped down my table! She is the nicest owner I’ve ever met. Christine was amazing and I can’t wait to go back!
