Good Times Restaurant Bar - Caledonia

For Valentine 's Day we decided on Good Times Restaurant Bar in Caledonia, MN because Tony loves their hamburgers rating them Damn Good , and I wanted lobster. We have never been disappointed with the service or food and Valentine 's Day was no different. We had lunch a few days before my birthday on St. Patrick 's Day and I was pleasantly surprised that they had corned beef, cabbage , and potatoes soup. It made my day. I love soup. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are logs decorated with wildlife pictures and a fireplace with mounted animal heads over the fireplace. It is a very comfortable environment. In Valentine 's Day the wooden tables were covered with white tablecloths. Everyday the silverware is wrapped in white cloth napkins.

If I lived in or near Caledonia, I would definitely become a regular here. I stopped in on a business trip. There were vegetarian options, but I was too tempted by the fish special blackened walleye. So good. Super attentive and friendly wait staff, including the bartender who was just wonderful, like a new best friend. Good drink selection, spacious clean seating with an excellent patio. I wish it was closer to where I live!

The food was beyond delicious! All our entrees we're perfectly cooked; right down to the sweet potato fries. I think this is the freshest salad bar in the area; sooo good. The babyback ribs were the meatiest I've eaten anywhere. They smoke them on site. Their menu is vast; from burgers and sandwiches, to traditional supper club dinner entrees (served all day), to pizzas too. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but I intend to. Special call out to anyone with a gluten intolerance; they offer gluten free buns and pizza for an additional fee. The service exceeded expectations too. We've been taken care of by three different waitresses, so far, and all of them have been genuinely friendly, happy, and very attentive. It is a really pleasant and satisfying experience to dine here. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.

Thank You Sarah and Staff of Good Times Bar and Restaurant!!! We celebrated my Mom's 90th birthday here on Saturday. The food, wait staff, owner made it all possible. The food was out on time for 23 guests, and was delicious!! Best pizza and salad bar ever!!The owner allowed us to decorate a portion of the dining room and made this evening extra special. Stopped in for dinner while we were in town. Husband and I both got burgers and fries. I added the salad bar. The salad bar was awesome. They can be scary sometimes, but this one was clean and kept up. Burgers were filling and seasoned very nicely. Fries were salty...just like I like them! I will be back if we're in town at dinner time again!
