Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe burgers at this fast-food restaurant are decent, but nothing extraordinary. The interior has recently been updated to a more modern look, with earth tones and a separate section for Orange Julius. During our visit, the restaurant was busy with families coming in for a treat after a soccer tournament. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings, and a mushroom Swiss burger, totaling $8. The burgers had a charred taste that some may enjoy, but the buns were a bit stale. The toppings included mustard, pickles, and ketchup, though the reviewer would have preferred relish. The fries and onion rings were average, but had cooled off by the time they got home. Overall, the $8 deal for 4 items is decent, but don't expect the food to be outstanding.
The staff was very unhelpful when they refused to honor a voucher that is valid at all other locations and were unable to process online orders.
I want to express my gratitude to the young woman working at this restaurant. When she saw that my 7-year-old's ice cream had fallen on the floor, she quickly offered to replace it. I am very thankful for her kindness.
I ordered the double stack burger, poutine, and Oreo/Brownie blizzard at this restaurant yesterday evening and ended up getting food poisoning from one of the items. I attempted to call the business three times to provide direct feedback instead of leaving a Google review, but they did not answer my calls. I will not be dining here again. The nausea, vomiting, body aches, and fever I experienced definitely do not make for a pleasant Friday night.
I believe the business development consultant for Dairy Queen Canada in Calgary needs to pay more attention. After sharing my disappointing experience at a Dairy Queen location in the southwest 10 days ago, I decided to try another location in Calgary. Unfortunately, the washroom there was in need of renovation and not accessible to those with disabilities. The cabinets in the kitchen were also outdated. It's surprising that this location has not been renovated in accordance with the typical 7 to 10 year cycle to keep up with customer expectations. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the chocolate dipped ice cream was delicious. However, the banana split was lacking in toppings and presentation. I'm left wondering if there is a Dairy Queen in Calgary that offers a clean washroom, better banana splits, and excellent service.
