Ginger Beef - Country Hills - Calgary

I can assemble much better at home more flavouful oriental dishes for much less money than I got twice at this Ginger Beef site.

If you want to waste money and have a very bad experience with friend or family, then this is the place for you! Apparently this was a way to place a few years back, why the reviews of some are high. But it's not...more!! Food came apart for 10 minutes... false dishes came out... in the last dish... would not replace rice that was eaten cold for 20min, but offered the microwave! Ask managers to visit when the waitress was argumentative but manager hidden, probably sick of complaints. Went to pay what we had and they automatically added their tip!!!! Absolute joke of a place. Good night!

After we ordered Sweet Sour Chicken several times and got pigs, we called and said that we can't tell the difference between chicken and pig that their staff is that they can't say the difference. I don't order from here... again.

We had the ginger beef, stir fried veggies, chicken chow my and some spring rolls. It's not the cheapest Chinese food around, but I think it's the best. The ginger beef is amazing, the vegetables and the role were fabulous and the chicken chow was mine... But that wasn't my decision because I'm not a fan and maybe I shouldn't judge. The tea was excellent. Generous portion sizes. We'll be back. Place was clean and the majority of clientele when we spoke there Chinese (sorry, don't know enough to distinguish between Asian languages) and I often judge an ethnic restaurant whether the local ethnic population goes and eats there and I assure you they do.

We used to enjoy the food here however our recent take out orders were bland and lacked any flavor. Disappointing as it used to serve flavourful dishes. We will test other Chinese restaurants in country hills.
