Penang Chinese Cuisine

Amazing customer service. We placed an Uber eats order last night and the restaurant made a mistake on our order and not everything arrived. It’s busy and it happens so not a big deal. I called Penang and they were so busy but the young lady on the phone couldn’t have been more apologetic and after speaking with the kitchen they had the rest of the order made and she delivered it herself! They could’ve just refunded the order on Uber Eats and left it at that but yhey definitely go above and beyond for their customers and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Good flavour, however they are the Aussie versions of Chinese food, except that The chat kway teow is very authentic.

We spent 3 nights in Caloundra and ate here twice! This place is a bit of a hidden gem and I really wish this restaurant was located in Brisbane where we live. The food is of very high quality, authentic and tasty. The service is also fast and friendly. We ordered a prawn and a chicken dish and the prawns were sourced locally from Maloolaba .....not the frozen rubbish you get at most other places). You could taste that it was the real deal. I am fussy and rarely write reviews but was motivated to give these folks my tick of approval as they are doing an excellent job.
