Apéro La Bohème - Calumet-Norvelt

Delicious! I had a wonderful time there. Even though some of the staff made a few jokes about me sipping rosé instead of opting for a fancier drink (I suppose that means I’m basic, haha), it didn't bother me at all; I would definitely go back. I’m looking forward to trying the caviar and champagne or sparkling wine next time!

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a memorable experience. As someone with little knowledge of caviar, I appreciated how the staff guided us through various options, pairings, and recommendations. When our order arrived, the presentation was stunning! It's a perfect place to indulge, impress a date, or enhance your understanding and appreciation of caviar. We also thoroughly enjoyed their unique interpretations of eggs benedict and gravlax, as well as every cocktail we sampled.

It's a woman-owned establishment with female sommeliers and it's LGBTQ+ friendly—great criteria to start with! When you add in the impeccable service and the delicious food and wine selection, I’ve truly fallen in love. The food, the wines, the cocktails, the service, and the ambiance all come together to create a wonderful experience. I can’t wait for our next visit! Cheers to the team at Apéro! The food was lackluster! It seemed like the chefs either weren't present in the kitchen, were disinterested in their dishes, or perhaps just having an off night. However, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was fantastic.

One word: phenomenal. This restaurant truly deserves every one of its five stars. It's no surprise that it should also receive a Michelin star. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and intimate, and the service was exceptional. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend trying the imperial caviar and teres major.
