Au coin du feu - Camors

We had a great meal here. We had the Entrecôte, which was excellent and beautifully cooked. The service was very good with a very attentive waiter. The cream brûlée was beautiful as the profiteroles. The restaurant is attractive with a beautiful atmosphere.

We have eaten several times at Au Coin Du Feu. The food is very good, especially the steaks and the surroundings, especially the terrace is beautiful. However, some visits were recorded mainly by mistakes on the invoice. For example, on a...going we were charged for the Angus supplement, although we had not asked for it (although apparently it had anyway). Last weekend, I took the family back. After we had reserved a table earlier in the afternoon, we arrived to find a table that was not reserved, although after a bit waiting and scrubbing around us one (the restaurant was not full). We ordered 4 €24 menus plus a single main course for my daughter. When ordering the invoice, we were calculated for 4 Set menus PLUS 4 Steaks (approximately 300 €). We were then offered a revised bill, but the included fees for our desserts that should have been in the set menus. A bit strange was that when the staff overheard us to check and interrogate it among us, it stopped and explained that there was another mistake. Why didn't that be checked before they gave us the bill? The fact is that we always return because the food is good, hopeful that the rest of the experience fits, but it keeps us down. Not sure we'll come back. There are other good restaurants nearby.

We had lunch at Coin du feu. I can say it was the best steak I've had for years. The Angus is wonderful and well worth the extra big frits wonderful Profiteroles Maisonette wonderful seating outside under the lime tree. What is not to love...

Enjoyed an excellent lunch here. Three courses and wine on the 14.50 euro lunch menu. Delicious salmon terrine, grilled steak and chocolate mousse, all with plenty rose wine. Friendly and efficient service. Worth stopping off for.
