Leo Foods And Beverages — Fine Italian Confectionary

The awesome ladies at Leo Foods helped me out on my birthday not too long ago with the heavy rains making it impossible to go to my usual bakery. On short notice they provided me with 2 fantastic cakes and an assortment of tarts. I myself am not a sweet tooth or confectionery lover but I sampled their carrot cake and the pear tart and I'm sold. Wife has told me that I have to order for her as she couldn't believe I ate cake.

I had ordered for the first time last week for my dads 70th birthday, i had callled the day before and was told that delivery will be fine for the next day to Kuilsriver (Ronnie), and on the following day got a call from a another employee(Janine) and was told that the order was placed too late and might not be able to deliver on the times i requested however dispite this they can still arrange the delivery after i told them to cancel everything. The mocha cake was good. The icing was buttery and flavourful. The cake itself was moist. The Red Velvet cupcakes however was a whole other story. they were brown on the bottom, indicative that they spent a little too much time in the oven. They were dry and crumbly.
