The Green Front - Canandaigua

My father, Sam, and I went to the front last night and had a great time. We love to sit in the window in front of the bar, but the sun was a little intense and our server - also the bartender who was very busy - allowed us to move towards the back of the restaurant. We then enjoyed one of the best meals we ever had. Dad and I had special: I had the 3-Cheese Steak Salad, full of crispy, fresh vegetables (the cucumbers were sweet and crispy, refreshing after a long hot day! and with decadent mozzarella, parmesan, and cheddar cheeses and tender steak. I also loved the fact that the cook chose the local Yancey's Fancy cheddar that supports our local companies. My father had the Prime Rib Sandwich with an interesting combination of horseradish Mayo, cheese and country bacon with sweet potatoes. A pleasant surprise was that the bartender from the beginning brought our food even though he had customers at the bar. He went beyond and beyond as well as the kitchen staff. We love the Greenfront, and that sent us over the top. Thanks for the great meal!

My wife and I enjoyed our meal on Sunday. Service was great, food was excellent. Vicki (SP? appeased our all needs, including the change of channel on TV, so I could watch race and hockey. My garlic parm wings were excellent, and she loved her bratbeef. Nice and delicate.

Waitress at the Office told us about this place. The pizza was great! Loved the atmosphere! Now we have 2 great places to eat when we visit the area from Florida. Will definitely recommend and return.

Great service, fantastic atmosphere, wait staff that work together for the customers happiness, fresh tasting food that comes out very quick even for a full place. Staff is all very friendly and to top it off it has a pretty cool history. Can't say enough. I will be back!!

I think that the only thing more challenging than a table of 17 for lunch is a table of seventeen for lunch that includes nine kids. Sharon was exactly what eight parents on vacation needed! Thoughtful, intuitive, kind, patient, and helpful! She went beyond the job description countless times and it was noticed and appreciated! The food was delicious, with the York Pork Sausage Sandwich being a table favorite. Thank you, Sharon and the Green Front restaurant for exceeding our expectations for delicious food and customer service!!!
