Iron Gate Pizza - Cannelton

Nice atmosphere. Everyone is friendly. Servers working hard. Went on a Friday about 5pm. If you order a soft drink they bring you a cup of ice and you serve yourself at the fountain machine. Keep that in mind if you have some mobility issues but im sure they would get your drink if you asked. Ordered 5 cheesesticks. They were good. The marinara pack is really small just enough for 2 cheesesticks. Pizza was just ok. Ordered meat pizza and veggie pizza.Toppings reminded me of a frozen pizza. Somewhat bland. Meat toppings were diced small. Sauce and toppings not as flavorful as they should be. Crust was good though.

Got the loaded Stromboli it wasn't as crisp as it used to be but overall still good.

Pizza was great service was great. I like the way they cut the pizza, I like the thinner crust style but the only knock I found was the crust taste it needs something but it's not a deal breaker.

The best pizza and sandwiches in Southern Indiana. Decor is a little outdated but I think k that's what gives it its distinct allure.

I have love this pizza since I was a kid. I will drive just to come get this pizza ? it's well worth the 1.5hr round trip
