Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe personal was very nice, but the lunch menu consisted almost completely of meeresfrench. no vegan surprise of the cook.
The front of house person was very uncomfortable when asked about vegetarian options and said a waiter would be better able to answer that question, but did not offer to get such a person for us. When asked to find one since it would be an hour wait for a table and we wanted to know if such a wait was worth it, he reluctantly did. The waiter was even more unhelpful. When asked about the vegetarian option for the evening, he replied that it will contain vegetables... and maybe some berries. Which ones? It depends as every dish is different. Not just that it changes each day, but he said literally every dish that comes out of the kitchen is different. He could not even say what ingredients it might contain, other than vegetables and maybe berries (yes, that comment was repeated several times during our short conversation). In other words, we’ll take whatever vegetable and fruit leftovers they have around at the moment. As if all vegetarians like all vegetables and fruits, don’t suffer food allergies, and don’t have a right as consumers to know what is in the meal they are paying for. I’m glad others had a good experience here, but we most certainly did not.
As has been mentioned, the chef made me a fantastic vegan meal. Not on the menu, but delicious. And the sorbet for dessert was handmade and exquisite. We had a member of our party with different dietary issues and they were very accommodating.

Menu doesn’t offer vegan dishes, but they are accommodating as the chef will make a vegan entree using the seasonal veggies. The upside is that they will do that for you, the downside is that you don’t get to go any customization. For example the waitress explained the meal would come with the current seasonal veggies (cabbage, beets, and carrots at the moment), and that it might come with rice or potatoes or fruit, but you couldn’t choose which. When I tried, they said it is up to the chef. The meal ended up being very nice (though somewhat under seasoned) with a hodgepodge mix of Veggies that were NOT part of the seasonal mix, which included cauliflower, bell peppers, celery, mushrooms, and corn, surrounded by grilled asparagus and fresh heirloom tomatoes. I imagine the veggies weren’t the same as seasonals, due to not being braised in butter. They also have a garden salad and vegan bread... instead of butter they brought olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
