TGI FRIDAYS - Canton (MI)

Down! when we arrived, they said that they did not use open table and that our reservation would not be honoured. there were over 1/2 of the restaurants with tables open, but they would not sit us. we were held when we were asked about the openings that 1) they did not have enough server, 2) a section was closed for a party (they were only with a table in section,) etc. we have left the restaurant and will never be back!

Huh with whisky sauce was very good, like the fish and chips. service was very good

Left of the Novi site because we were told the kitchen was secured (a lot of space but 30 minutes wait.) drove 20 minutes from my area for the $5 appetizer special. was sitting with my adult daughter säuglingsdaughter enkelin. To find out, we can only get the appetizers in the cash, but we could get the $5 drinks in the escort. that was disappointing. the cajun pasta, which was absolutely terrible. I asked about water – which I never received, although the waitress went 15 times from us. I guess Friday 13 is not the day to Friday.

I have requested a reservation for 25 people. the reservation app allowed only a maximum of 6 people and only waiting lists. I called the restaurant to explain my situation. they wouldn't keep a place for us. frustrating not in the position to actually make a reservation. the restaurant also wanted to share on numerous areas. but luck was on our side. a gracious waiter has to take us all over 5 tables! this made for a great experience at the end. eating was amazing, service excellent. they must work on the reservation concept or call something else than a reservation.

The restaurant was great. The service was great. It took a little while for our food which I understand happening on a Friday night. But we had a party of 12 and we asked for separate checks from the beginning. We received our separate checks but somehow after paying and leaving and going to get gas my card was declined. I couldn’t understand why since my bill was only $23. Somehow my card was charged my $23 plus the additional checks then some. I ended up being out over a few hundred dollars for the weekend because there wasn’t anything that could be done at this time until the bank releases back my funds. Again the food was good and the server was very great and very busy but it just stinks that I was inconvenienced all weekend due to the error.
