Avaliação da contribuiçãoYesterday, my dad and I went to the restaurant to celebrate our birthdays. The waitress surprised us with a fried banana and a candle, free of charge. We were both so delighted and will always remember this special gesture. Thank you to the staff at Saffron for their kindness and thoughtfulness.
Updated review. They no longer have the coconut cod and the Panang sauce. But I once again had the curry chicken and my wife had the Massaman curry. Delicious. And sushi too. Wonderful everything! Coconut cod was so good by itself that I didn't even wantto dip it in the panang sauce. Then I realized how good the panang was that I practically drank it. The yellow chicken curry wasamazing. One of the best I've had. The raspberry crepe is very good also.
Sushi rolls were lacking in the amount of tuna (one piece had none in it at all) Lacking flavor and sushi rice was not cooked properly. Sent it back and ordered Wonton soup and it was tasty. Would not go back here for the lunch special rolls. Service wasvery good.
I have never had a bad experience here. Literally every detail of every meal has been perfect. The service is always exceptional. People always complain about the price point when I mention Saffron, and it's really not high at all. They have some really wonderful specials at the top of the entree list that catch the eye, and if you're celebrating a special occasion and want to try something with a little extra flair those options are there, but if you're just a local having a nice Friday night meal or a lunch on a slow workday the second half of the menu is VERY reasonably priced and the quality is head and shoulders above the competition. I recommend the Sweet Basil, or Gra Prow.
Tom Yum soup is my favorite and Saffron did not disappoint. Husband loved their St. Louis roll. Great service and discovered a new fav wine. If you like Riesling, we loved the Frisk Prickly.
