Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and we're not disappointed. Great local menu that goes beyond the normal classics.Highly recommend the "Salade, fromage de chèvre, fruits." Very pleasant staff, happy to serve and translate for tourists. Liked it so much we returned later in the week just to sit in the bar with a few bottles of wine (it was raining). Again, very friendly place with a good local vibe.
I had an excellently cooked tuna steak for dinner with a nice glass of wine to go with it. I love tuna steak and have had mixed results in restaurants. The waitress was keen to make sure she understood how I wanted it cooked, not easy for me in French, and it came perfectly done, still red in the middle, but heated through nicely. The service was very good, friendly and checking more than once on how I was doing. They are used to tourists and happy to help with my laboured french. I felt very welcomed. It was also extremely busy, but they obviously are well organised because nothing took long to arrive and it was easy to ask for help. The view of turrets was a bonus, and much better than sitting inside a building that could be anywhere, you couldn't escape the fact you were in one of the most amazing old towns in France.
Several great dishes at a reasonable price. Very good located in the old city. Staff was also efficiënt and helpfull
After a visit to the castle we had lunch here. Just around the corner of the castle, next to the city walls. Service is not very special but fine. Enough choices, both from the fixed and the daily menu. Prices are reasonable, especially for its location. We had a tuna steak, which was prepared in a simple matter but very tasty!
Stopped for lunch before 12 when not busy so service was perfect. cheapest set menu was 3 courses for €13 so nothing to complain about but I did check that it was gluten free and showed the waiter my gluten free card which explained it all in french. wonderfully tasty first course salad, then cassoulet followed by ice cream. lovely place, simple unhurried lunch. I did worry a bit about the sausage in the cassoulet but hoped it would be ok because the waiter had checked the card information with someone else. However I did have a reaction during the afternoon and therefore can only assume that I had digested some gluten. maybe someone will be able to confirm this as I was a little disappointed and made me fearful when i visited other places on my holiday that the gluten free card wasn't being taken seriously.
