Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had planned to visit Cosmo in Cardiff, as I had enjoyed a meal at their Swansea location in the past. However, I was disappointed to find that Cosmo was no longer there. Luckily, a friend informed me that it had been replaced by JRC Global Buffet. The atmosphere at JRC Global Buffet is sleek and stylish, with dining on the second floor offering a great view of Cardiff Bay from the large windows. The customer service was excellent, with immediate greetings and table seating, prompt drink service, and efficient table clearing. The variety of food offerings at JRC Global Buffet is the best I have seen at a buffet in South Wales. From build-your-own burgers to Chinese, Indian, and teppanyaki grill options, there was something for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Chinese dishes like roasted pork belly and potstickers, which tasted like home. The highlight of my meal was the teppanyaki grill, where a chef cooked fresh scallops and salmon to perfection. There were some downsides to the meal, such as stale chips due to food sitting out for a while on a hot plate. Overall, I would be happy to return to JRC Global Buffet, but I would prefer to visit during a peak time to ensure the food stays fresh.
I was unimpressed with the unfriendly staff and lackluster service during lunch. The food options were limited, and the quality and taste were both poor. Overall, it was not worth it.
