Oriental Express - Cardiff

The usual standard of the meal is generally high, but we were disappointed to find that the 2 Special Fried Rice dishes we ordered tasted burnt. We spent £45, so this was particularly disappointing.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant and it arrived over 2 and a half hours late, with no sign of it ever showing up. I tried calling their phone but it was constantly busy. It's ridiculous that they wouldn't even give us a courtesy call to let us know about the delay.

Fantastic. The food always arrives promptly, the flavors are excellent, and the portions are huge. I love that they always include a handwritten note and some complimentary spring rolls. I've never had a disappointing takeaway from this restaurant.

Always boiling hot and early. Driver is lovely and always get a personalised Thankyou note on complimentary spring rolls.

Ordered chicken satay with fried rice and it was delicious. The order arrived earlier than expected and the delivery driver was friendly. We received complimentary vegetable spring rolls. The chicken satay was so nice I was craving it all week and decided to order it again. It was just as delicious the second time, and again arrived earlier than expected by a friendly delivery driver and with complimentary spring rolls. Will be ordering Chinese takeaway from here from now on. Can't fault it.
