Avaliação da contribuiçãoThey instantly make you feel welcome , great service , especially the young waitress ! Nice cozy Italian/Mediterranian family atmosphere . They serve great pizza's , a variety of meat dishes and believe it or not amazing thai food !!! There is an nice whine collection and different specials every day . If you stay or pass Cargese visit this restaurant you won't be disappointed .
The worst attention ever, her owner is awful. Don't even try. We were a big group of people and it was difficult to move everyone and find somewhere else, that is the only reason we stayed.
I'm an Englishman now spending half the year in Cargese, where I've spent more than five of the last 25 years. I've no personal connection with Chez Mimino, but I've been a regular customer for all 25.Mimino's is basically a hotel restaurant with a wood-fired pizzeria outside on one of Cargèse's most 'sympa' outdoor terraces.Following a change in management last year, Mimino can still claim to serve some of the best pizzas in Cargèse but its menu now reflects the Thai-Corsican fusion of manager Davide's family. There's a regular Saturday evening buffet offering a flat-rate, mix-and-match of both cuisines: you have to try this! The standard menu has been culled to a sensible size and the cuisine has improved enormously. Few places seem able to get swordfish right, but Mimino's offering two nights ago (May 2016) was about the best I've ever had. This restaurant went through some difficult times and picked up some indifferent reviews. It's changed completely and although it's still settling down, the value for money now is so good that I can only recommend trying it before the prices go up!
We ate here during our recent stay and found the food to be really good - well cooked and reasonably priced - something for everyone - traditional Corsican dishes, pizzas for my youngest son and vegetarian options for my other son.
