Absolutely unheure pub. eating was amazing. staff very polite and friendly. the pub itself is very well decorated and clean. could not want to call in any case if next in the opposite

Absolutely superb Sunday lunch at the Swan today. Food was amazing, very helpful and friendly staff and nice decor. I’d highly recommend and they serve food all day at the weekend . Will definitely be going again!

Had a lovely Steak here, pleasant surroundings friendly staff and welcoming locals. Dog friendly and cosy. Can't wait to visit this hidden gem again soon.

Vegan review: Stopped here on our way home from walking up Pen-y-Ghent. It was extremely busy as it was a bank holiday but we phoned half an hour ahead and were able to secure a table in the bar! Our friend’s dog was with us and there were lots of other dogs in the bar area too. There was plenty to choose from on the vegan menu! I opted for Penang curry which came with turmeric rice. I ordered extra curry sauce which wasn’t a problem! The food was lovely, I did keep adding salt and pepper though! There were 4 vegan desserts to decide between, these were listed on the normal menu. I went for the raspberry and almond tart which came with soya cream, this was nice but could’ve been a bit sweeter! I also had a decaf, caramel latte with almond milk. A couple of the items were listed as vegan by mistake, so just check before you order. The service was pretty quick, the food was good and the atmosphere was great, and prices were reasonable. Chocolate was served with the bill, not vegan though. I’d come here again!
