La Luna - CARLTON NORTH

Wow is all I can say. I do not know of any fine dining establishments that allow you to bring your own (BYO) bottles of wine. I have my own wine cellar and certain wines that I prefer so it's nice to be able to grab a few bottles and then go out to a really good meal. The steak was amazing and the oysters were extremely fresh and tasty. If you do not know about this place and you have wine at home that you really enjoy, I highly suggest this place.

It's really all about the food and we enjoyed the best meal we had in Melbourne that week. Adrian even stopped at our table to have a chat with us.

We arrived late - after dinner, and received excellent service. We enjoyed a couple of nice bottles of red wine with some delicious chocolate desserts. I'd visit again. I'd be interested to see if the food menu is as good as the desserts.

My family visited La Luna Bistro last Saturday night for my wife's 50th Birthday dinner . Service Our waiter was fantastic, I did not get his name but he fantastic. Very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu . He made suggestions which were fantastic. The restaurant was very busy so we waited a while for our entrees to arrive . We shared a tasting plate which was great . They used to serve it on a board now it's on a plate . Mains All mains were fantastic, steaks were cooked med to rare and all other meals delicious . For desert we shared the tasting plate again , great choice . Overall the service was fantastic, food was great . We had a fantastic evening . Congrats to La Luna . We will be back again .

Family restaurant? Staff needs to learn some manners - 16/6/2017 6pm very disappointed. Food average for the price. Child's meal did not come out at all - had to ask for it. Atmosphere ruined by staff member. Will I be returning - not likely.
