Bahn Mai Thai - Carmarthenshire

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant after reading fabulous reviews. There was 4 adults and 4 children, aged: 5,3,2 and 8 weeks. All kids were seated, and chatting. Before we'd even managed to order our food, we were asked to keep our children under control as it was going to be a busy night and they didn't want to upset other customers. I explained I couldn't exactly expect my nearly 2 year old to be quiet, but would keep him seated the whole time. This wasn't good enough and I was again told, to keep control of my child. Needless to say, we paid for our drinks and left without having a meal. Had the children been misbehaving I would completely understand, but they hadn't. The 3 year old had used the toilet, with the adult supervision and my 2 year old had dropped the menu on the floor. Nothing I would say is out of the ordinary for children of that age. Very disappointed as we were really looking forward to eating here. I definitely don't recommend it if you've got young children. Although highchairs are provided, they don't seem to like younger children being heard.

Moving from London to Burry Port has been hard trying to find good take away food. So glad I found this Thai place in Llanelli. Thank you for a delicious meal. I will be back

Overall experience was good. Food was good.. service was good .. seemed like a family run restaurant. Prices very reasonable...

Quite possibly the BEST food I have ever had at a Thai Restaurant. Absolutely delicious. Also, thank you for staying open a little longer for us on the May bank holiday we really appreciated being able to sit in. Thoroughly recommended!

This is a great restaurant. I was very impressed with the service , very polite and very quick service. The food is fresh and extremely good. I would recommend to everyone. Great restaurant, definitely one of the best in wales .
