Avaliação da contribuiçãoSorry for the length of this review but it must be said.We called into this winery on a lovely rainy Sunday afternoon around 3pm for a coffee and perhaps to taste some wine. Waited quite a few minutes before staff noticed we were even there but when they did sat our group of 5 at the table right beside the kids corner even though there were plenty of other empty tables and it was 1 hour before closing time. Water n menus were brought to us fairly quickly but we were not asked at that stage if we wanted any drinks to start and no suggestions were made. Seemed to be plenty of staff there so can't understand even when I caught the eye of one why we were kept waiting or we weren't served. One was more interested in putting glasses away than looking after customers. Even the one who saw me disappeared into the kitchen. Eventually we were served after 15-20 minutes and our coffees were brought out soon after so that was better. Unfortunately the kids corner was then invaded by 2 fairly rowdy children whose parents were away at the furthest table around the corner so couldn't see them. I had to move as my chair was being constantly nudged by one child and then their rowdiness made it difficult to enjoy our conversation and unfortunately it got the better of me. I had to tell them to be quiet or go back to their parents. Let me say, I should NOT have been put in that situation! Ruined this visit for me! Suggestions: 1: If you have to have a kids corner, put it in another room! Otherwise put the parents on that table so they can watch them or alternatively have some consideration for your other customers and get rid of it altogether! 2: Train your staff better. Customers are your bread n butter. Without them you don't have a business. Table service should be prompt and friendly. There were no menu suggestions by the lady who served us and the menus were collected by her when she took our orders for coffee and tea so we couldn't even browse. 3: Organise your staff better. Their chores seemed random and disorganised and seemed to take preference over customer service. Our group had just come from another packed restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and excellent customer service. We wanted to show our friends some of the beautiful wineries so close to our homes and stop in for a coffee at one of them. Sorry Fairbrossen. This visit was a disappointment. We'll go to others in future but will keep an eye on your reviews to look for improvements in your customer service. May give you another chance later.
My husband I went for a country drive on Sunday & had lunch at this lovely winery/restaurant in the Perth hills. The location, views, service, food & wine was very good. Would highly recommend and will visit again.
Went to Fairbrossen for lunch and were very impressed. The wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Assisted us with our choices and were prepared to hold our meals while we tasted the wines. They were also very helpful and gave us the attention we required even though they were quite busy. The wines, although only a smallish choice, were very nice and suited all our palates. They are also reasonably priced. We returned to our table and our entrees were waiting for us. The tasting plates were generous and very tasty. Our mains and desserts were also similarly very tasty and generous. The pork was outstanding as was the chocolate brûlée. The wait staff didn't rush us and the meals were perfectly paced. It was a great afternoon and certainly a place that we will revisit.
Spent a lovely few hours here enjoying good company with good food and wines. Would happily come back
Went for lunch on a warm autumn day the four of us were blown away with the service and food. The barramundi was perfectly cooked while my fellow friends loved the lamb shanks and pumpkin and green bean salad.. by the way the wines are great and the menu recommends pairing with the food... recommend
