Went there to get my fave, World Class Chocolate, only to find out they straight up don't sell it. How can you be a Baskin Robbins and not have the 31 original flavors? I was told they get to pick which ones they carry because it's franchised and honestly, I'm pretty disappointed. They were missing a few other favorites including some advertised by Baskin Robbins ads online. I'm going to be finding another location to go to in the future.
I've reviewed this place before. Not much to update. The customer service is great and the ice cream is very consistently good but I typically just order a shop of ice cream each so I don't have much to report on how the specialty items are at this location.
So I walked out of the Baskin-Robbins located on the corner of Manzanita and Cypress today scratching my head in frustration. Everyone knows that you can order a cup or a cone with two different kinds of ice cream in it, it 's been going on since the beginning of ice cream shops. I asked the staff there to put two different kinds of ice cream into a quart container for me. They said we don 't do that . When I asked why I just got a blank stare. I then asked are the flavors of ice cream a different price and if so I 'm happy to pay the higher price in order to get what I want. They answered no all the ice creams are the same price . So I then asked again why can 't I have two different flavors of ice cream in a quart if I can get two different flavors of ice cream in a cup or on a cone? Again a blank stare. At no point in time did it strike any of the three employees standing in front of me that this was a customer service issue and to simply put two different flavors of ice cream in a quart, since it makes zero difference in price, ring me up and say have a good evening sir. Whoever 's training and or managing the staff there needs to play closer attention and encourage their employees to simply just use common sense. I have 20 years of customer service experience and I 'm baffled at the lack of effort and complete lack of common sense constantly displayed at this store. If all the ice creams are the same price it doesn 't matter if you put one type of ice cream into a quart or two or even three. The reason why I 'm taking time to write this particular post is because this is the second time that I 've gotten poor customer service from this location. Hopefully this reaches somebody that can affect change in the store and we won 't have these types of problems moving forward. Good luck.
