I want to give our waiter Dylan an special shout-out because the service he provided to us is what keeps us going back to this restaurant time and time again. The food was prepared exactly how we had asked and it was delicious as usual. Thank you Santini's for a great dinner experience!
I've never had a more HORRIFIC restaurant experience in my 60 plus years of life! This place is abominable. I ordered a New York strip steak. It came out, looking like a pounded thin club steak. It was terrible! I took 2 bites. Two people with me ordered the filet mignon and it came out well done when they asked for medium. The waiter never came over to check to see how our food was, so finally, when we raised our hand for the check, I said I would like you to take this steak off of my bill because it was awful and definitely did not seem like it was a New York sirloin. I mentioned that I ate my mashed potatoes and vegetables, if you'd like to charge me for that. When we get the bill they charged us $18.50 for mashed potatoes and vegetables!!! They gave us a small basket of bread for a table of five so we asked for more and we were charged for the second basket of bread! My friend asked for club soda because she got some sauce on her white shirt and they charged us for the club soda to clean up her shirt! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. What a nightmare!

Very nice and clean. At right away and the waiter was very attentive. Appetizers: The shrimp cocktail was fresh and delicious. Fried calamari was overcooked and had weird gardeneira and peppers on it. The marinara sauce that came with it was thin and tasteless like tomato soup. Main course: first, I ordered the cowboy ribeye for 39$. Shortly after the waiter came back and said the cowboy ribeye was now 56$. I understand markets change, but i just felt that should be done before you hand me a menu. Chicken francaise was fresh and very tender and the sauce was plentiful but a bit strong in the wine flavor. I ordered the 16 oz filet with roasted potatoes. I asked if they could make it a baked potato, but they said they couldn 't. I received the 8oz filet. It was cooked nicely but it was a bit mangled. Like someone cut it open to see how it was cooked. The vegetables were hot but tasted like they were frozen vegetables. The rice was a huge upside down cup shaped pile of tasteless yellow rice. And the potatoes were sliced very, I mean very thin and were fried. They were dry inside and tasted like a plain potato chip. Definitely not what my mind imagined when I read roasted potatoes . All in all, the food was edible and fresh, except for the frozen vegetables, but I would probably not go back. Parking: Seemed like they had parking on both sides of the building which was good. Wheelchair accessibility: The Louis Street lot was ground level. Not sure about the other lot.
