Prairie Inn - Carthage

Steak was so good! Melt in the mouth! The price was right. Drinking was perfect!

The Prairie Inn is really the undamaged jewel of the eastern central South Dakota. Great specials every evening for us hungry and cold hunters as well as much cold beer and good whisky. The Prime Rib Sandwiches are something I could see on the menu of Peter Lugers Steakhouse in New York City. Dianna was our evening waitress/Koch/Barkeeper for most nights we were there and she was fantastic. Even offered me a free bourbon of choice at the night of my birthday. Thank you for the hospitality.

A beautiful place to stop and get a drink and some snacks when it has to be in pop and the food is not too bad they are too
