Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe visited this restaurant twice during our stay in the region. both paints we ate very good for an honest price. service is very friendly. we went with our little children and how in most Italian restaurants we felt very welcome here. the pasta. we had an excellent, but what was all the grilled sampi that I can only recommend to everyone.
Close to a rental property I have visited this restaurant for several years. decor is always a little quirky, but the personal beautiful and friendly. the menu offers good choices for seafood and meat. the pizza menu is also available. I had a nice starter of warm cheese with walnuts, honey and apple. good value
Not too attractive from the outside, but very two large rooms. very good concept. distance from table to table. masks are worn by the personal all the time. table cloths are replaced each time. the personal is friendly and pay attention. we ordered the mixed plate for starter. highly recommended. we had the pizza toskana, stationary and margarita. everything excellent. the best dish was the gnocchi with seafood. as a dolce the tiramisu is perfect. we will definitely return to this trip.
Pleasant evening with good local Italian food. very good service and value for food and wine. we come back.
One hears about these great neighborhood places to eat, that are off the beaten track in Tuscany, well, Il Merlo, is certainly one of them. Away from the tourist routes, in the village of Il Merlo and on the road to Casole D' Elsa, this...place was open, packed and still welcoming late on a Sunday night--the bar area was hopping with the World Cup on TV and we watched till the game was over. When we heard that the kitchen was about to close, we quickly ordered and the proprietor turned around and handed the order to the woman standing next to him, who had been offering helpful suggestions on what was good tonight, and said, Here, Mamma Well, when the food arrived, there was no doubt that Mamma was an exceptional cook, turning out traditional Tuscan meals with a flair, such as the steak with the sun-dried tomatoes or the steak with funghi (Porcini mushrooms) and the spaghetti with seafood Ragu. And finally, an extraordinary Flan de Catalan, topped off the meal with the house wines. It was close to midnight by now and a birthday party at another table, was still not wrapped-up. We had a great time with our late-night Sunday meal! Grazzie mille, Mamma and Il Merlo for a delightful experience!
