Avaliação da contribuiçãoWas a little disapointed with our visit last night. This bar use to be a byo only venue. we found this a little strange as a wine bar that didnt sell wine but was good in a way as you could bring your very own wine meaning you were not restricted by there choices. This has now changed and it is a fully licensed venue. Unfortunately though they havent put too much thought into there main attraction which being a wine bar one would hope to find a fantastic wine selection and plenty of variety. if your looking for a nice aged red/white , a bottle of st henris/bin 407 or penfolds grange. Look somewhere else. They do not have many premium wines. One of the dearest reds on the menu was $68 bottle of pinot noir. The waiter came over and asked if i would like help with my selection then proceded to tell me he knows nothing about wine. We finally selected this pinot noir as the waiter was no help and were then told sorry this wine actually wasnt available. A real shame as the hills is longing for a great wine bar but this one just misses the mark. I gave them two stars as there cheese/antipasto platters were quite nice. I think they have now aimed this l bar at the younger crowd tending more towards beer/cocktails now. Maybe a name change is in order and should be just called The Lane Bar. For now we will have to keep heading into the city for a good wine bar.
Found this wine bar accidentally while shopping at the mall. Good variety of wines, many of which I've not seen in liquor shops before. One of the owners served us and was lovely, offering some great suggestions on the wines as well as some snacks to go with them. Atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Would go again.
I discovered this restaurant while shopping late at night. They have a great selection of wines, available by the bottle or glass. The tapas-style dishes were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I wish they had more dessert options, but everything else was excellent. I will definitely be returning.
Was excited to be invited out to this quaint wine bar and walking in I was loving the ambience! Unfortunately, the cocktail I wanted was 'out of stock' (not even sure how that happens!), the platters were expensive for what we got, there was no dessert platter option and even though our table tab was close to $500 at the end of the night, we were almost forced to hurry up and leave as the staff turned on the bright lights as a hint for us to get a move on outta there. Bar staff were friendly and attentive but not sure I'll revisit for a whole night again until the food pricing is overhauled. Fab idea and could be a really bustling little venue if it wasn't so expensive.
Cool looking Tapas & wine bar. However your service was terrible. 3 girlfriends catching up on Saturday night. Couldn't wait to leave!Waiter didn't go through the menu when we asked how the menu works. We're just a wine bar, was his response! Wine glasses were empty for about 40 minutes & we had to wave the waiter down for refills!!Asked for the bill....30 minutes later....do you still want the bill?Training of good staff would make your bar thrive & make for a great night out.
