The Everest Nepalese And Indian

Food arrived freezing cold over 2 hours after the order was placed despite only living 1.5 miles away. We called to politely complain and had to ask for another meal to be sent out. They agreed to send another meal but this never arrived. Worst take away in Belfast. AVOID! Over priced, cold, late and terrible service.

Went on Friday night, restaurant empty. Food really disappointing. All sauce no meat. Nam bread thin and hard . Jalfrezi mild like a Korma. Really disappointed. Definitely bypass this restaurant!

I have previously reviewed this restaurant at 5 star, but something has changed. the food quality dropped enormously. less meet in the portions, more fat, and not as tasty as it was before... After being a regular customer for couple of years, I think it's time for a change....

Visited over a year ago and found we were the only sit in customers (although the take away trade seemed to be thriving , the decor was in an unfinished state but the food was very tasty. We were impressed by the food and intended to return. We managed to return recently and found it had changed in some respects. We were still the only sit in customers. There were some carry out customers but fewer than at our last visit. Decor is no longer unfinished but is quite bland. The food is now basic Indian fare. The vegetable pakoras were really nice but the main courses were nothing special. Only soft drinks available (but there were bottles of spirits on display! . The waitress was pleasant. With just basic food and no real atmosphere I doubt that there will be a third visit.

I have no idea how this place has been given such good reviews!! Its horrible. I am an Indian and I cook Indian food and I have Indian food and take my word for it.. Horrible!! Just one of the run of the mill Indian sub continent chefs who claims he cooks Indian food. There is No term called balti in indian, except for being a literal translation for the word bucket! And it says Nepalese indian fusion and there are no Momos on the menu??? Are you kidding me? All these establishments fume me up because it misrepresents Indian food. This is not authentic indian food. Period.
