Avaliação da contribuiçãoCute little home style restaurant. Food was good, little bland. It's mainly self service, order from the counter, wiped down our own table, bussed our plates. Kitchen is small and takes a little bit to get food. Little pricy for self serve. But all in all a nice place.
We stopped for a coffee and a breakfast scramble (even though it's not officially on their menu for my husband. They just adjusted a couple of fares they do offer and put them together in a scramble. It may have been breakfast time, but I ordered some frozen custard, thinking of Culver's Custard, mostly in the eastern states! Uh, not the same! Not bad, though. I was hoping for a go-cup so I could take it with me, but I didn't make that clear so I wasn't able to finish it nor share the remainder with my husband when he was finished with his breakfast. This is a cute coffee shop with many options for breakfast. I'm sure we would try again if we lived in the area, but being in Ashland, we have our pick of places there. Try here if you are undecided.(If you find this review helpful, please let others know by hitting the like button. Thank you. ?
We enjoy Crater Cafe. The food is good and the people are nice. They do have more seating down the hall. The Jackalope Shoppe is cute and worth walking through. Sometimes it takes a while to get your order, especially if it's busy so allow time for that. The coffee and custard are fantastic and worth a stop in for.
Such a friendly cafe! We were even greeted at the door by an owner. Delicious basic food, nice breakfast and lunch items. Order at the counter. Family friendly with a kids menu. The Jackalope Shoppe is throughout the cafe and adds a cute quirky decor.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu
Our first time visiting Crater Cafe today and as CP locals we were excited to try as we have heard great things. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed. After ordering at the counter and sitting down, it took 40 mins for our food to be brought to the table. That's the longest we have waited at any restaurant, non to mention a cafe! When it was brought, my eggs had raw egg whites, the hashbrowns had no seasoning or flavor whatsoever, but the bacon was great. We were really shocked to wait 40 minutes for such a simple order. Not sure we will visit again after reading other reviews sharing it took 30+ mins for their food too.
