This restaurant is a great choice for dumplings, which are our favorite. Actually, any Din Tai Fung in Singapore is fantastic because the dumplings are made fresh on site. If you are trying them for the first time, be careful as the broth inside can be very hot when they are served. There is usually a wait of between 20-40 minutes, so take a number and do some shopping in the mall while you wait. They will notify you when it is your turn, even with an automatic phone call. The service is quick and friendly. We enjoyed the pork and rice, fried spinach, duck, and spring rolls. The unlimited jasmine tea is delicious. You can't go wrong with this place!

The food at this restaurant is really delicious, especially the chicken dumplings. However, as I don't eat pork, the variety of dumplings is limited for me. I did enjoy the green vegetable dumplings, but I didn't care for the veggie one with pumpkin. Pork fans will have a lot of options to choose from, as well as shrimp dumplings.

If you have visited Din Tai Fung in Taiwan, you may find this restaurant a bit underwhelming. The quality is good, but it doesn't quite reach the level of Taiwanese cuisine. The staff, however, was very hardworking, which I appreciate. The beef noodle soup was decent, with tender meat but overly soft noodles. The broth had a strong beef flavor, and tasted even better with a splash of vinegar. The chicken soup was delicious as well. The prices are on the higher side, and I was disappointed by the mandatory 10% service charge. With tax, this adds up to a 17% increase on top of the menu prices. Overall, it's a solid choice for Taiwanese food, but beware of the extra service charge.
