La Marina Hotel - Central Visayas

Main dining at Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel. Beer is 110 pesos, which is almost double the usual price of 60 pesos in town, but a normal price for a hotel restaurant in Mactan. It also serves as the venue for the breakfast buffet, which costs 500 pesos but is quite satisfying (booking with breakfast included is reasonable). It is located next to the pool, slightly obstructed by trees, but you can see the beach and sea through the gaps. Filipino dishes are delicious (priced at 300-400 pesos per dish, again almost double the price in town).

I love this place, especially that my family had learned to like Korean dishes like samgyeopsal, bulgogi, bibimbap, jjajangmyeon which is noodles in black bean sauce, and especially jjamppong, a Korean spicy noodle soup. I like their serving style that includes a number of side dishes, such as kimchi, jangajji, jeotgal, dongchimi, kkakdugi, nabak. The price is reasonable and serving sizes are just right. I used to go to this place for lunch or dinner with office mates when I was still working in a nearby company.
