Avaliação da contribuiçãoSaturday night with my wife and my children. Dinner was fantastic. It was not too crowded when we arrived there (about 19:00) and things rejuvenated when the evening went on. We have an assortment of roles as you can see from the photo. Presentation is always important for Sushi IMO and that was pretty. The service was phenomenal and the last bill was reasonable. We paid more. One of the spicy roles was a bit hot for my son, but they let us know in advance. Several were incredibly delicious and we were all satisfied and happy with our choice. It is a humble place and the ambience is understressed, it does not try to be chic. It's about my only complaint. But would definitely return, as food and service are more important than decoration. Delicious and friendly we really enjoyed this place.
Some if the best sushi around. It has changed a little bit over the last few years but consistently the sushi is good and so are the non Sushi items. Had the Gyoza, Matsu Ball, Chicken Teriyaki, shrimp tempura roll, Salmon Double Roll, Spicy white roll and a few others. Always a good time.
I was looking for a more affordable sushi place (than the one i recently went to) and found this one the other day. Unlike the one i went to north of here (which i wont name) who were also very nice (staff) but they had loud dance club music, uncomfortable hard clear plastic chairs, smaller salmon sushi portions for more money/cost, charged a dollar for some side dipping sauce (other than the free soy sauce on the table) and had paper straws that stick to your tongue and lips, so, i searched for another place and found this one. Matsu is farther away but the atmosphere was nice, comfy chairs, nice soft music, plastic straws, bigger salmon for less money and free dipping sauce! It’s the simple things that matter when dining out. again, i loved the staff at the “other” place as they were beyond kind and helpful, but Matsu Sushi is more my kind of place.
Last time I ate here was 8+ years ago. The food was awesome then. Tonight I came During a busy Friday and everything was perfect! We didn’t wait long to be seated, service was above and beyond on all levels. The Sushi is amazing and fresh! This Restaurant has been here for 10 plus years and keeps on improving! I am truly thankful for this Restaurant!
Easily one of the best sushi places in Northern VA. The sushi is high quality and always very fresh. Prices are pretty reasonable too. They do get super busy on weekends so be prepared to wait a bit whether you’re dining in or taking out.
