Avaliação da contribuiçãoWent here since it was the only place that didn 't have a wait-list at the time... Originally the waiter and food service was decent. No complaints until midway during our dinner. My friend asked for sprite and when it was delivered, the can was sitting in the mug of ice. My friends and I looked at each other (all worked in the food industry before). We kinda gave it a second to process that, that is NOT sanitary??? So we joked about it trying to play it off that they were trying to keep the soda can cool, but ...really? We couldn 't really play off the lack of communication. Three different and awkward occurrences. 1) we noticed salmon options weren 't really listed on the touch screen menu. We asked them if they ran out, in which they did. This wasn 't the worst of it, so I didn 't think much of it. 2) our touch screen menu suddenly become the lock screen? In other words, we couldn 't use the menu and couldn 't get around the lock screen of the logo. When we asked the server, he said, one moment, let me check that out for you. And never came back. 3) another server just dropped the check off without saying anything. She answered our question, when we asked her at least and seemed nicer. It was still off putting to just drop off the check and not say anything. Anyway... Maybe that 's why there wasn 't a wait-list.
This place was a bit empty when we showed up but it wasn't the dinner rush yet. But the reviews online had really good ratings so we decided to go and grab dinner. The sushi tasted fresh and there were daily half off deals which was nice. I think we paid like 7 dollars for a ponzu plate set.
Super cute experience! My son loves the kids special with the little bullet train platter. The sushi is deliscious! Really recommend it for a fun family experience!
This place had me pick 30 minutes after eating it. I was literally vomiting. The sushi would’ve been perfect if it was fresh. On the bright side they sell sprite so that helped my upset stomach.
Service was fantastic. There were signs all over asking for patience due to short staffing, but the employees were doing wonderfully. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was the food. Everything looked fresh. But our table ordered multiple dishes with different prepared tuna items. All the tuna was chewy and pretty flavorless, aside from the seeded tuna, which tasted like it had been soaked in lemon, very sour. I was excited to see they had a temporary platter. It had squash, zucchini, shrimp, and bell pepper. Would have been perfect were it not for the overpowering lemony-salty seasoning the cooks had been far too generous with. Imagine having a 1/4th teaspoon of salt dumped on each piece. The acidity burns the mouth and even with scraping the seasoning off, much still clung to it. I asked for wasabi to try to drown out the salt at least. The tempera would have been perfect were it not for the over seasoning. The texture was perfect. I wish the taste could have not been drowned out. The little screen at our table we ordered on did not allow customization, to take seasoning off the top, for example. Also, many items we would tap on would not say ingredients. It was like Russian rullet trying to find ones with ingredient identifications, because a member of our group has allergies. Also, the screen did not always respond. Those were the low notes. High notes were the scallop and salmon. Both options were tender and flavorful, as desired. Food arrived quickly. Everyone at the table loved them. Again, service was excellent. Food was hit or miss, either very excellent or sadly disappointing.
