Mimi's Cafe - Chandler

I have visited Mimi's Cafe twice now, and it has been a disappointing experience both times. The customer service was great, but the food took a very long time to arrive. The staff do not wear hair nets, which caused a piece of hair to drift into my drink. The steak was overcooked and the tomatoes had yellow stains on them - shouldn't they be red? Overall, this was the worst dining experience I have ever had at Mimi's Cafe. My family and I will not be returning.

We recently moved to a new area and were thrilled to find a Mimi's Cafe nearby. It was one of our favorite spots back in California. Our most recent visit was a mix of good and bad. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. Our waitress was very pleasant. However, things took a turn when my son's chicken fingers tasted fishy. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye. I requested mine to be cooked medium-rare, but it came out extremely rare. My wife's steak was cooked well, but both of our steaks lacked seasoning. Despite these disappointments, the highlight of the evening was the delicious melted lava cake, which may have been the best we've ever had. Overall, it was a letdown and we will likely dine elsewhere in the future.

The server was excellent, checking on our table multiple times. Our meals arrived hot and smelled wonderful. I ordered the French dip, and my wife had the turkey sandwich with French onion soup as a side. The only issue was that they forgot the soup. We will definitely return and request Silvia as our server.

They have a large group here in mimi’s cafe and have a surprisingly spacious opposite that is in their own opposite. there were pre-selected lunch options for choice and my chicken sandwich was perfect. if they are looking for a place to meet with 30 or so they have a great opposite to do it.

We have been to Mimi’s a few times and this was by far the worst experience. We were seated pretty quickly but then proceeded to sit and wait while our server walked back and forth for 15 minutes before being acknowledged. She was rude and did not provide the service we have been given before. We were eventually served our meal and the oatmeal was chunky and old, and the overall meal was bland and just “meh”. We won’t be back.
